2018 Guidelines Methodology Advanced Training Course

First Round Notice of 2018 GRADE and Evidence-based Guidelines Methodology Advanced Training Course

Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) is a method developed by the GRADE Working Group for Systematic Reviews (SR), Clinic Practice Guideline (CPG) and Health Tec Assessment. The classification tool of hnology Assessment (HTA) is the most authoritative international standard for the classification of evidence quality and recommended strength. The GRADE Working Group was founded in 2000 and chaired by Professor Gordon Guyatt, founder of evidence-based medicine. Its members are health policy experts, clinical guideline experts, evidence-based medicine experts, clinicians and editors from more than 60 countries. Because of its scientific rationality, transparency and applicability, it has been adopted by more than 90 important organizations around the world, including WHO, Cochrane Collaboration Network and National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). In order to promote the spread and use of GRADE in the world, since 2011, GRADE working group has established six centers in China, Canada and the United States in Asia, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom in Europe. Its main mission is to promote GRADE methods, conduct GRADE training and carry out GRADE research.

Evidence-based guidelines are recommendations based on the best current research evidence (systematic evaluation and Meta analysis), taking full account of patient preferences and values, and balancing pros and cons. To further enhance the mastery of GRADE methods and promote the development of evidence-based guidelines, the China Evidence-based Medical Center, the Chinese Cochrane Center, GRADE China Center and the Chinese Journal of Evidence-based Medicine jointly organized the Advanced Training Course on GRADE and Evidence-based Guidelines Methodology on December 15-16, 2018.
